Normanby Primary School
Normanby Primary is the strategic partner in the North East Schools Teaching Alliance. It is a very popular 3-11 converter academy with over 500 students across Key Stages 1 and 2 and the Early Years Foundation Stage, and was judged as Good with many outstanding features by Ofsted in May 2013. We are also a National Support School.
Our children excel in the sports and arts, as well as in their reading and mathematics. Located in an outer suburb of Middlesbrough, Normanby has easy access to the popular destinations of Durham, York and Whitby as well as the spectacular scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors.
The area boasts an array of high quality attractions, culture, countryside and heritage and provides affordable housing and a good quality of life for trainees and families alike.
Through North East Schools Teaching Alliance, we aim to train top quality teachers who will inspire future generations of young people with a love of learning and provide them with the very best possible life chances. We have worked with trainee teachers for many years and our experienced, dedicated staff have supported and developed them to achieve their ambitions in the teaching profession.
We invite you to join us – we can organise visits and work experience to help you make this crucial decision regarding your future. We look forward to having you on the team!
